  Malibu, Calif.: August, 2011.  We were pulling up to Paradise Cove to have dinner, mostly because my kid said “I was in Hawaii a year ago today and I wanted to be at a beach.”  When I saw all of the cars I thought “They must have some kind of event going on near here.”  No, I forgot it was friggin’ August.  I forgot it was summer.  I forgot that tourists love themselves some friggin’ Malibu.  At least the tourists didn’t disappoint me.  A stolen kiss near the trash facility (AKA smoking area), a wild hair toss.  A fat kid with an ice cream.  Boredom.  Well … I wasn’t bored.  Leica MP.  35 Summicron +3 stop ND.  Agfa APX 25.
